ENTT-04 Port

The EducateNow ENTT-04-Port Training Table utilises common industrial control equipment to provide realistic interactive 3D models and simulations of common critical infrastructure systems that may be found in and around a port. This includes a container port with a loading\unloading gantry crane, an undersea cable landing data centre with telecommunications tower, a lighthouse and a desalination plant. This table is partway through the design and development phase with the construction and implementation of the first table planned for 2022.

Systems and functionality on this table includes:

• a Container Port with Loading and Unloading Gantry Crane (with 3 axis movement)which unloads shipping containers to and from barges to the shore, goods trains and freight trucks
• an Undersea Cable Landing Data Centre with Telecommunications Tower
• a Lighthouse 
• a Desalination Plant

The EducateNow ENTT-04-Port Training Table will come with the following software and control programs;

• Omron NX1P2 PLC control program including 3 axis joystick and EthernetIP encoders
• Omron NX SL Safety CPU control program with EtherCAT and Emergency Stop Switch
• Omron CPL1 PLC control program
• Omron NA5 SYSMAC HMI programming with control, status alarms and trending pages for the above Omron PLCs
• Mitsubishi L MELSEC- Series PLC control programming
• Mitsubishi iQ FX series PLC control programming
• Mitsubishi GOT Graphic touch terminal HMI programming with control, status alarms and trending pages for the above Mitsubishi PLCs
• Table Control PLC program for the control of the Mains Power, Water and Gas networks LED indication, interfacing with the Container Port, Data Center & Telecommunications Tower, Lighthouse and Desalination Plant PLCs as well as other connected Training Table PLCs.
