ENTT-01 Water
The EducateNow ENTT-01-Water Training Table utilises common industrial control equipment to provide realistic interactive 3D models and simulations of real life water infrastructure systems including a Water Tower Storage Tower, a Water Treatment Plant, a Hydro Power plant and the associated power, water and wastewater distribution networks. The first installation of this table was in 2015 and versions of this table are currently being used at both University and Research Center sites.
Systems and functionality for this table includes:
- Working model of a water storage system with a PLC controlled pump station providing actual water to a water tower with industrial type floatless water level sensors and can allow for a potential overflow into the local environment scenario
- Working model of a Water Treatment Plant with a PLC controlled Clarifier and Backwash & Filtration tank control system which pumps actual water from the town reservoir\storage tank to the Water treatment tank farm and into the Water storage system
- Sub-surface integrated LED strips for the indication of power grid, water and sewerage lines statuses
- Simulated Hydro Power Station with Required Load and Output valve PLC code and calculations
- Simulated Gensets for the Water Supply Tower & Filtration Plant
- HMI touchscreen Operator Interface with Status and Operational control pages for the Water Storage Tank and Water Treatment Plant as well as Hydro Power Station
- SCADA Status and Control for each system
The EducateNow ENTT-01-Water Training Table will come with the following control programs;
- Schneider M340 Water Treatment Plant PLC program incorporating real time sensor control, equipment feedback and external interaction
- Schneider M221ME Water Tower PLC programs incorporating real time sensor control, equipment feedback and external interaction
- Schneider M221CE Hydro Power Plant PLC program
- Schneider Magelis HMI programming with control, status alarms and trending pages for the above PLCs
- Table Control PLC program for the control of the Mains Power to the Pumps, Blower and Motor, Simulation of the Power Load and Hydro Station Valve position, the HV & LV Power, Water and Waste Water networks LED indication, interfacing with the Water Tower\Treatment Plant & Hydro Plant PLCs as well as other connected Training Table PLCs.
