ENTC-01 ABML1400

The high end ENTC-01-ABML1400 Pedestrian Crossing & Traffic Intersection PLC Training Case uses a more complex three way Traffic Intersection scenario to enable the introductory learning of PLC, HMI and optional industrial vision system programming platforms.

The ENTC-01-ABML1400 Training Case utilises an Allen Bradley MicroLogix 1400 PLC which is one of the highest level shoebox PLCs in the AB range. The other main training case hardware includes a Panelview 800 HMI Terminal and an optional Omron Vison Sensor camera and associated Touch Finder display to act as a traffic intersection safety camera system.  

The case comes with the cables & connectors, software and licensing required for students to connect to and program each of these devices. They also come with setup manuals and the following Training modules as standard;

• ENTM-01-ABML1400-BSG HMI Basics Self Guided Course
• ENTM-01-ABML1400-BSG VISION Basics Self Guided Course (with vision system option only)

Although the training cases are flexible in its programming capabilities, various control scenarios have already been developed and installed into the associated equipment so that by the end of these Basics Courses, students will have had experience with a number of programming techniques including;

• Basics of getting online and using the relevant programming software, monitoring IO signals and downloading programs to the associated equipment.  
• PLC Programming of various outputs and sequences triggered by push button or sensor inputs.
• Operating, programming and interfacing HMIs to PLC inputs and outputs to display statuses & control traffic intersection processes. 
• Using a vision system to capture an image as well as modifying the vision system program and using OCR functions to detect the number plate characters for a moving car detected by the PLC to be either speeding through an intersection or running a red light. 

This high end case is also designed with the ability to be networked via EthernetIP to other ENTC-01-ABML1400 Traffic Intersection and ENTC-01-ABML1100 Pedestrian Crossing Training Cases to enable representation of a transport road network.
